Gobabeb Research and Training Centre, together with the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) and NASA representatives, will be partnering as exhibitors in the 2016 National Science and Technology Innovation (STI) Festival.
The festival, organised by the National Commission on Research, Science and Technology (NCRST), is conducting science education outreach that will focus on familiarising the youth of Namibia with issues of water, energy, and biodiversity as well as the impacts of atmospheric climate change on the environment.
Gobabeb is excited and ready to educate young learners from around the country through educational games, quizzes, videos, and presentations. Everyone from far and near is invited to visit the Gobabeb stall to have a look at some really cool science items such as casted scorpion burrows, preserved animal specimens and also to use the opportunity to learn more about Gobabeb and score some freebies.
The event will be held at the Ongwediva Trade Fair venue from the 12th to the 16th of September 2016. Presentations and exhibitions are scheduled from 9:00 to 16:00. We will be pleased to see you at the event!!!
